Utopia & Design brings to the host city of 2016, Rio de Janeiro, some of the history of the Olympics in the twentieth century. There you will find images of historic moments, challenges and apexes, all portrayed through projects that have become international design icons. They were created by five great designers: Yausako Kamekura, Tokyo 64; Lance Wyman, Mexico 68; Otto Aicher, Munich 72; Deborah Sussman Los Angeles 84; and Joseph Trias, Barcelona 92.

With copies of the collector's pieces, Markus Osterwalder, the M'Baraká team met classic and unique images. They found curiosities like the Wheaties cereal boxes with the immortalised image of American Decathlon champion Bruce Jenner. Today, as you all know, her name is Caitlyn and fans clamor for her to go back to the covers as a transgender icon.
In Mexico 68, weeks before the opening of the games, there was a massacre against the student movement at the time and it was fully covered by the media. The designer Lance Wyman shared with the team a publication with graphic appropriations of the logo made by the student movement.
