Yey, one more mission successfully accomplished! Last week, we held the second Galeria round table meeting at NEX, an impressive and super cool Coworking spot in Gloria, Rio de Janeiro. We invited four amazing speakers to talk about entrepreneurship in the creative industries by sharing their experiences with everyone there. It was awesome! They were: Ronaldo Porto from the Design Thinking School, Ivana Beltrão from Rio Criativo, Leandro Donner from Bloco Sargento Pimenta and Rodrigo Ayres from Boulangerie Carioca.

If there is one word we can use to sum up this meeting, it is: c.o.l.l.a.b.o.r.a.t.i.o.n. At the end of the day, it was easy to notice that without this simple and powerful little thing, it would be even more difficult to be a successful entrepreneur in any kind of business you are in. They brought some great examples of how good ideas can come from anywhere, from an ordinary lunch to a coffee break or a happy hour (where we end up that day, by the way!). But, if this spirit of sharing ideas and being helpful or proactive with others does not exist, most ideas won’t go much further.

So, take note! In their words, everybody should always keep their eyes and ears wide open for opportunities, talk to different people, listen to their ideas (and share yours too), be aware and... collaborate! Well, even if you don’t plan to run your own business, for sure, we would say that these are tips for life, right? :)
